PROBLEM SOLUTION
We want to install an on-roof air conditioning unit, but we're not sure that our trusses can handle the extra weight.

We can increase the load-carrying capacity of a truss system by adding tie rods, new trusses, top chord laminations, or by building truss tops larger to accommodate the increased load requirements.

We cannot get our trailers into the building because there is not enough height to the roof trusses.

After examination of your building by our structural engineers, we can often raise the bottom chords of the trusses to provide clearance for all trailers.
In many cases "raising the roof" can be accomplished at half the cost of excavating the floor area and laying a new floor. An additional advantage is that the building can usually remain in use the entire time we are working.
