Truss repair work was recently completed at our property on Pulaski street in Chicago by Carl D. Campbell and Associates. Through their efforts, this retail facility was kept in business during normal work hours while two major truss repairs were being made. They have the experience to repair the most difficult truss failures.

Later another crisis occurred when a large freezer wall in the bakery was hit by a fork truck operator. Campbell was called in to provide temporary supports which kept the freezer roof from collapsing.

Campbell maintains a complete stock of heavy wood truss building materials to minimize response time in an emergency. This kept us in business. We are glad to recommend their services.

If you are in need of truss repair, call me first. I converted a 26,000 square foot supermarket into class A office space. In June of 1996, I received a phone call from my tenant, who felt that mine subsidence had occurred. An exterior block wall was pushed out leaving a 3" gap between the interior drop ceiling and wall. Upon investigation by a structural engineer, he discovered several breaks in the wood truss system.

I contacted the previous building owner, who referred me to Carl D. Campbell & Associates, Inc. Within 48 hours, Mr. Korzen had visited the site and made his assessment of the damage. After receiving bids from other companies, Campbell was selected.

Due to the nature of the tenant, the 3 month process of repairing the damage had to be done after hours. By doing so, combined with the tidiness of the workers, there was no interference in the day to day operations of the 70+ employees.

Upon completion of all work, my structural engineer estimated that the roof truss system was in excess of 50% stronger than when it was new.

I highly recommend this company for any repair work that you may need. They are extremely accommodating in stressful situations.
